Since the inception of the organization in 1921 to our present day, NewMech Companies has grown to a full service construction and engineering organization. In 2006, we reorganized the organization to ensure our long-term success and better align our businesses with the needs of our customers. NewMech is now one of the CorVal Group Companies, which operate complimentary businesses under common goals and values, conducting business throughout the United States.

Richard (Dick) Poser, Peter Jordan, Steve Poser, & Paul Jordan took over ownership of the company in the fall of 2004. Their vision is to continue to lead the construction & engineering industry in providing our customers safe, high quality solutions on time and within budget.

The Newmans were pioneers in the mechanical construction industry throughout the first half of the 20th Century. Their son, Richard (Dick) Newman became a plumber like his Father and joined the family business. The Newman family consistently grew the business and continually added services. They truly became a full service mechanical contractor by performing plumbing, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, fire protection, underground utilities, insulation, and fabrication services.

The Newman family actively managed the company until 1979. At that time, they consolidated their 6 plus companies into NewMech Companies,Inc. During the 1970’s three individuals, Ron Pearson, Larry Jordan, & Jerry Poser began to manage parts of the business eventually buying the business in 1980. They continued to grow the business from $15 million inannual revenue to over $90 million. NewMech became a leading Industrial, commercial, and service construction company in the Midwest.

In 2007, CorVal Group was formed as a holding company for NewMech and its six sister companies. In combination, these companies offer a full range of construction services to bring more value to our business partners.
